  • Slaves In Egypt
  • Where is our saviour? Who will relieve us of our terrible burdens?
  • The Birth and Youth of Moses
  • My, my, a child in a basket! Come little one, what should I call you?
  • Moses Flees the Midian
  • We shall love, through sickness and through health, together forever.
  • "So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh.  But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites  and worked them ruthlessly." Exodus 1.11-13
  • The Lord Calls Moses
  • I have seen the misery of my people. I have come down to rescue them.
  • "Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it.  She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said." Exodus 2.5-6
  • The Passover
  • The Lord will have mercy on those that obey and cover their homes in a lamb's blood.
  • "Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land.”
  • The Crossing of The Red Sea
  • Brothers and sisters, have faith! God will make a way.
  • Moses what are we to do! The sea blocks our path!
  • “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”  Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God." Exodus 3.5-6
  • "Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. None of you shall go out of the door of your house until morning." Exodus 12.21-22
  • "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them." Exodus 14.15-17
