Storyboard Text

  • Shot 1 - Wide establishing shot showing interior living room with burglar.
  • Shot 2- Burglar is looking for the safe inside the mansion.
  • Shot 3- Medium shot showing burglar and painting.
  • Production MUSIC begins. BURGLAR is walking around the room.
  • Shot 4- Close up of burglar as he presses his ear against safe.
  • BURGLAR: (in thought) "Huh? That safe's gotta  be around here somewhere."
  • Shot 5- Medium shot of the safe door opening.
  • Burglar moves a painting  on the wall. The painting is actually hinged and hides a safe from view.
  • Shot 6 -Close up of contents of safe.
  • Burglar presses his ear against safe and prepares to crack the lock code so he can get good. BURGLAR: (in thought) "This looks easy to crack." Burglar spins  the dial and we can hear the tumblers clicking.
  • Burglar pulls down the safe handle (Click). Then he swings open the door revealing the contents of the safe.
  • Instead of finding money in the safe, the safe holds the owner's prized bowling trophy.
