"I feel like i don't belong here. The house is wife and mother now, and nursemaid"
Wendy and Peter
"no, they've broken into the nursery"
"Wendy and Peter aren't in their rooms"
Lydia changes by wanting the house but realizes that it's taking her place. she contributes to the theme by showing that nothing ends up how expected. She relates to kids thinking they know what's best but don't. everyday people learn that not everything you want is needed.
Wendy and Peter stay the same spoiled kids throughout the story in my opinion. the kids contribute to the theme by getting everything they want, all they do it want. nobody taught them that what they want isn't always what they need though. Wendy and Peter can relate to growing kids, that haven't learned manners yet. a lesson learned from these characters is that everything your'e given should never be taken for granted
George changes in the same way as Lydia, he thinks he wants the house but ends up hating it. He contributes to the theme by showing how getting everything you want isn't what you need. I think George resembles a weak person. i cannot think of a specific character but he shows he's weak by drinking and smoking so much. George teaches us that sometimes things go wrong, but that doesn't mean it is time to give in and be weak
