Reid's Trip Around The World

Trip to the airport
Flight to Canada
Here in the U.S. We have a Market Economy where we the citizens can own and control the resources that are ours. For example our houses are owned and controlled by us the people.
While Reid was waiting for the bus to arrive Reid experienced a principle of Capitalism. He experienced competition between two companies when he was booking his flight to Canada. Competition helps the world out by being able to choose from many different companies.
On the plane Reid experienced another principle of Capitalism. He experienced Freedom of choice by being able to decide what snack he wanted while on the plane. It is beneficial because it allows people to choose what they want.
Cruise to Haiti
Here in Canada they have a Mixed economy as I just found out. That means the people and the Government both own and control the resources.
Reid waits at the airport to get on a flight to go to Florida and get on a cruise to Haiti.
While on the cruise ship Reid had a fun time swimming and doing other stuff.
