"It's all right officer, I'm just waiting for a friend. It is an twenty years ago. I will give him half an hour at least. If Jimmy is alive he will be here by that time."
Setting: A dark street, raining in New York City at 10pm. Characters: Undercover policeman, Bob, and Jimmy. Tone: Mysterious
"You aren't Jimmy Wells!"
Jimmy must choose between doing his job and putting his best friend in jail or just letting his friend go and not putting him in jail.
"Here is a note from Patrolman Wells."
Bob talks to a policeman about waiting for an old friend Jimmy Wells to meet him after twenty years. He assures to the policeman his friend will show up and that he will wait thirty minutes beyond the exact time they were supposed to meet if he does not get there at the exact time.
"I can not believe I got put in jail from my best friend."
Bob believes a man is Jimmy, so he greets him and then they walk together. They eventually step under a light where they then see each others faces clearly. Bob notices the man is not Jimmy. The man tells Bob he has been under arrest for ten minutes.
"You've been under arrest for ten minutes."
Jimmy gets an undercover policeman to arrest Bob because he cannot do it himself. The undercover policeman gives Bob a note telling him that it was from Patrolman Wells.
Bob reads the note from Jimmy, which indicated that Jimmy reconized Bob as wanted and how he had to have an undercover policeman arrest him because he could not do it himself.
