Storyboard Text

  • It's just a bad dream my daughter. Just a bad dream. You had asked me what is most valuable to me. I'll tell you, It's you my daughter. I love you very much.
  • I'll grand you a wish for helping my companion. Think of it wisely.
  • I want everything I touch to be gold.
  • I'm so lucky to have this power
  • My daughter!! What have I done. This power is a curse. At first I could not eat because everything I touch turned to gold . Now my beloved daughter has turned to gold. I don't want this power anymore please!! Please help me Bacchus
  • King Midas- He is someone who loves money very much till believing that happiness is obtain through money, which, he later learned that it was wrong. He really loves his daughter. He is kind king and treat his people well considering that they mourn for him when he had passed away.
  • Bacchus God of Wine- Bacchus is a kind and generous god. He granted King Midas a wish because of what King Midas had done to give his companion a place to stay when his companion got lost and wander around the castle. I would describe him physically a rather overweight god that would be drunk at all time , considering his name.
  • Yes, I have learned my lesson. Thank you very much.
  • Go to the river of Pactolus and wash your hand. This will reverse the wish and I hope you learned your lesson
  • King Midas daughter - She is an innocent child who has a trait opposite of her father. She doesn't believe that happiness is obtainable through money but rather spending time with her family. Not much is mention about her.
  • Father, I dreamed about being turned into a gold and everything else was gold as well
  • The Initiation- King Midas came to realization that he should always be grateful and never be greedy after the problems that came from his wish.
  • I've learned to not be greedy and be grateful for what I have. After what had happen I've learned from my mistake
  • Mentor- Bacchus serves somewhat of a mentor by teaching King Midas an important lesson which was essential for a King in order to rule over his people which is never to be too greedy
