  • Teacher: I arrived professionally and on time to teach both lessons.
  • Context: Students were given the opportunity to choose seating. They can sit in a chair, on the floor, or stand.
  • Technology was included in the presentation of the whole-class lesson through the usage of PowerPoint and a document camera.
  • 
  • Text: I used a very age-appropriate nonfiction text to teach a comprehension lesson on Mars.
  • Students: Students were encouraged to participate in a whole-class discussion on whether or not they would want to live on Mars and why.
  • Task: I liked using whiteboards as my assessment strategy because it kept the students focused.
