Storyboard Text

  • Creon had a horrible night of drinking wine and sailing ships after his family died, to find himself stranded on an island the next morning
  • Oh No! I woke up alone on a desert island
  • Creon suddenly saw figures popping out of the water. At first, he thought that his people had come to take revenge for his mass murder
  • Creon thought the name sounded classy and inviting, so he made friends with the creatures. Little did he know, in English, it meant the island of the killer mermaids.
  • Welcome, to the island of the sirènes tueur! We are very glad to have you as our guest!
  • The mermaids had a tradition of killing the tragic heroes that washed up on their island after their downfall to please the Gods.
  • The time has come again my sisters! Last year Oedipus, now Creon!
  • The mermaids captured Creon in his sleep and dragged him into the ocean. Despite his screaming and kicking, they were able to accomplish their goal
  • In the night, the mermaids killed Creon by drowning him. They now plan to eat him in a yearly "Eating of the Tragic Hero" ceremony.
