Well i still need help understanding intramolecular bonds.
Your welcome jade. now is there anything else you need?
Alright i'll see what i can do
Well thats gonna take awhile to teach but im sure if you ask around, someone is bound to know.
Hey there do you think you can help me understand intramolecular bonds?
Well from what i heared there are 3 main types of bonds. ionic, covalent and, metallic
Thanks for your help!
ionic bonding is the complete transfer of valence electrons between atoms. it is a type of chemical bond that generates two oppositely charged ions. during this the metal looses electrons and becomes a positively charged cation. That's all i know for now.
wow thats really helpful! thanks!
Covalent Bonding huh? Well thats a chemical bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms These electron pairs are known as shared pairs or bonding pairs, and the stable balance of attractive and repulsive forces between atoms.
Thank you. i think i understand intramolecular forces now!
Oh well, Metallic bonding is a type of chemical bonding that rises from the electrostatic attractive force between conduction electrons and positively charged metal ions.
