  • But before they could show their skills, WWII was over.
  • The U.S. trained many Vietnamese men in the art of using automatic weapons
  • another similarity was that they were "hotspots" during the civil war.
  • in both of the wars,  the underlying cuse was to contain spread of communism.
  • Also, the Korean war was more of a gun-fought war, while Vietnam was more of a guerrilla war.
  • a difference in the wars was that the Vietnam war came to an official end while the Korean War came to a cease fire but an unofficial end.
