The Boys in the Boat Storyboard
Book Trailer storyboard
Here was Joe Rantz Childhood home. Nothing to be Admired
He moved and went to college in Seattle during the height of the Great Depression
He did not fit in at all at Washington College as he was poor, but he found a home through rowing.
Joe and his rowing team found their home on the water and they excelled greatly.
His team excelled through competitions across the United States and beat the big East schools of rowing.
Eventually he and his team made it to the Olympics and won the gold medal in front of Adolf Hitler himself. How a small boy with terrible beginnings made it to the Olympics is truly inspirational.
