  • Tensions between the colonists and soldiers boiled over when a colonist threw a snow ball at one of the soldier. When they opened fire leaving 4 colonists dead, this was the first time the tensions turned physically violent.

  • When colonists threw tea into the ocean in protest of all the acts that the King took toward them after the French and Indian war, it caused the king and British merchants to lose income.

  • The King of England cut off the Boston Harbor from trade after the colonists threw the tea into the ocean, it caused the colonies to not get any of the goods they needed.
