  • Indulgences were basically you paying the church but nothing happening. It was basically them lying to you to get money out of you.
  • Diet of Worms
  • The Catholic Church decided they don't like people who protest about them, so instead of taking their criticism into their actions, they killed them all.
  • Luther translating the German Bible
  • The 95 These was a piece of paper that stated all the things wrong with what the Catholic Church was doing, it was written by Martin Luther.
  • The Peasant Revolt
  • The Diet of Worms consisted of the Catholic Church and the Roman Empire coming together to decide Martin Luther's fate, but he was then kicked out and he hid in exile.
  • While he was in exile, he started to write notes to the church saying how wrong they were. He also decided to translate the bible from Latin to Germany.
  • After the Peasants read the bible and looked at the Catholic Church, they started to get angry at the church for lying to them and they burned down everything that symbolized the Catholic Church.
