Storyboard Text

  • Please don't hurt me!
  • You are coming with me!
  • NOOO!  Please don't hurt me!
  • I won't hurt you!  Why so emotional?
  • I'm on my period.
  • What's a period?
  • A period is when a woman bleeds from their reproductive organs.  It is their body's way of cleansing them.  It begins durign puberty.
  • That doesn't sound pleasant.  Does anything else happen?
  • Yes.  Waistline slims, hips widen, breasts develop, and ovulation begins.  Ovulation is when ovaries release an egg.  If it is not fertilized, then it leaves during menstruation.  Your period.
  • Oh, wow.  Wait, does that happen to males?  I don't want blood all over when a knight comes to save you.
  • No, it doesn't, but they still go through puberty.  Their voice deepens, their adam's apple develops, their shoulders broaden, erections occur, chest air starts to grow, and sperm is produced.
  • That doesn't sound as bad as the female changes.
