Once there was a emperor who loved clothes. One day two tailors came to him and convinced the emperor to pay them a bag of gold, for they could weave a fabric so fine, fools would no be able to see it.
The royal dresser tried to convince the emperor that it was not a good idea, but the emperor did not listen. The tailors put on such a great show, and pretended that they could see the fabric.
When the emperor was brought his new clothes, he couldn't see them at all, but he pretended like he could so he wouldn't seem like a fool, he thought to himself that he would only appear naked to fools. When the emperor walked out a boy called out "Look the emperor isn't wearing any clothes!" everyone started laughing. The emperor realized that he had been fooled but when he went back to get the gold back from the"tailors" they had already fled
