"With Joy in his hear, Epimetheus set out to do his part."
The earth was young at the time when Prometheus created living creatures from earth and water. (104) Birds for air, fish for the sea, animals for the land, and most importantly human. His brother Epimetheus pleaded Prometheus as he envied his creation.
"I forbid the man of fire." (106)
"Man was naked and defenseless." (104) While Epimetheus was happy with what he did he realized his mistake. Prometheus was angry with him because he used all of his creativity for the living creatures and there was nothing left for man.
ren Prometheus loved man more than all of his other creations. He went to Zeus' children for help. Hephaestus gave him fire as a parting gift for the mortals. He went to teach humankind all things about calculating, their environment, reading and writing, and construction.
After Prometheus tricked Zeus with the Ox carcas he took back the fire Haephasteaus gave away.
Zeus commands Hepaestus to take Prometheus in the depths of the wilderness and tie him to the icy gorges and Zeus cursed him.
Prometheus took Zeus' words carefully and didn't budge or fight for he understood his defeat and lived with it for years.
