- Apparently in some towns they already have

- Its the day of the lottery and the boys are collecting stones for the lottery

- Look there picking. Oh noIts miss hutcinson.
- The head of the lottery thanks the boys and sets up the box of names for the town to pick of. The villagers gather around in anticipation.

- This is how the lottery is and always was
- Honey there is nothing we can do

- then the towns folk talk about the other towns soe people have heard that in some towns have already gotten rid of it and that we should follow along.
- Death of ms hutchinson

- The crowd watches as the Hutchinson family takes their cards and they each pull out good cards and the town realizes that miss Hutchinson won.
- Miss Hutchinson shows fear across her face as she draws the unlucky card and protests no it isn't fair.
- As the town watches and mercilessly beat mss Hutchinson to her death the family watches in sorrow as she dies.
