  • This is Greg he is a red square. Greg has to go through the cell cycle which consists of 3 stages...
  • Hi I'm Greg
  • The chromosomes are being copied
  • Interphase
  • The black dot in the middle of me is called a nucleus and it controls everything I do.
  • This is the first stage of Mitosis. The nucleus is starting to divide. Nucleur membrane is starting to fade
  • Prophase
  • Centrioles are starting to move to the opposite ends of me. They are connected by spindle fibres.
  • This is the second stage of mitosis. The sister chromatids are connected by the spindle fibres to the centrioles.
  • Metaphase
  • My chromatids are lining up in the middle of me.
  • This is the third stage of mitosis. The chromatids are starting to be pulled to opposite ends of the cell by the spindle fibres
  • Woah! its working
  • Anaphase
  • This is the last stage of mitosis. Two new nuclei form. The chromosomes appear as chromatin now.
  • Telophase
  • I have two nucleus's now!
