Joan was a french peasant girl. She heard voices from god at age 13. The voices told her to help Charles become king.
"God? Is that you? Ill do anything you want"
Joan left her house at age 17 to join the army. She cut her hair and pretended to be a boy. Charles made a test for her to see is she really heard god. Joan passed the test instantly
"I know that you are the real king."
Joan led the french into many battles. She was shot by an arrow in the soldier. She came back fighting after the arrow was out. After a few victories Charles was crowned king.
"Ow that hurt, eh its just a flesh wound"
Joan left with her troops to fight a battle without the kings permission. She got captured by french traitors. Charles made no effort to help her out or pay her ransom.
"Can you help me?"
Joan was accused for being a witch. She was also accused for lying about speaking to god. She was tortured in prison for two years. She finally confessed for a crime she did not commit.
"uh, I'm so bored down here, let me out!"
Joan was executed by being burned at a steak. When she was burned she did not making any noise. a few years later her family showed that she was innocent. Around 200 years later she was reconized to being a saint.
