Dupin and the narrator are introduced to each other and decide to share an apartment together. They discover a newspaper article about a murder in the Rue Morgue...
There were cries heard in the apartment room and when people finally opened the locked door, they found Mademoiselle L'Espanaye, the daughter of Madame L'Espanaye stuffed up the chimney head downward.
The second, who was the mother of the first victim, was found outside in the rear of the building with her head almost decapitated.
"Based on the non human hair that we have found I have come to the conclusion that the culprit is not of human nature. We can conclude to this idea because the finger impressions on the madame were made by huge hands and the thrusting of the Mademoiselle was of more strength than the average human. I am guessing that the culprit is this Ourang Outang from this newspaper who has gone missing."
"I witnessed the crime that my Ourang Outang committed! He killed both of them in cold blood, I'm innocent!"
"And that my friends concludes the murder mystery of the Rue Morgue. Le Bon who was arrested earlier for the murders was quickly released and the sailor was able to keep his Ourang Outang after paying a hefty price for it. Dupin is a genius in mysteries, so join us next time on The Mystery Adventures Of Dupin."
