  • Hey Alice! Can you please tell me the neutralization process of Hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride?
  • Certainly Reuben! Hydrochloric acid is known as HCI and sodium chloride is known as NaOH.
  • So you're telling me I can make salt and water just by mixing and neutralising HCI and NaOH?!
  • hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide mix together. They neutralise each other and this creates sodium chloride which is a salt and it also makes water.
  • Yep!
  • Thanks Alice for explaining the neutralisation reaction between HCI and NaOH
  • No problem Reuben
