Throughout my journey of studying the Mycenaeans and Minoans I noticed some very interesting things about them that really stand out from the rest of the Greek society.
The Shields of the Mycenaeans were oddly in the shape of figure 8 rather than the classic circle or shield-shape we're used to. They also fought wit barely any armor sometimes only with a kilt type garment.
What intrigued me most about the Minoans is the myth of the Minotaur. A tale of a beastly man trapped in the center of a labyrinth. The Minotaur is believed to be a hybrid between Cretan Queen Pasiphae and a majestic bull. king Minos had a huge maze further known as labyrinth built to pose as living quarters for the creature.
