  • 3 General of the Estates are called for a meeting.
  • General of Third Estate Leaves 
  • France is bankrupt from the alliance with the 13 colonies in the American Revolution. 
  • Storming of Bastille 
  • All 3 Generals of the Estates are called to a meeting because many people in France are starving to death. 
  • Declaration of the Rights of Man
  • Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. Social distinctions may be founded upon the general good. 
  • The General of the Third Estate leave and forms the National Assembly made up of peasants. 
  • King Louis dies 
  • In the French Revolution, the Storming of Bastille is when the French Revolution starts and many people start to die. This is how the Independence Day in France was born, many people call it Bastille Day. 
  • The National Assembly passed the document called the Declaration of the Rights of Man. It was a statement of the principals of the Revolution.
  • The king was beheaded because he tried to flee Paris and was caught. After that, none of the citizens trusted the king anymore and he was beheaded.
