  • Hello! We are the Glucose people preparing for the Cellular Respiration ritual.
  • To complete our ritual, we must use previously prepared ATP.
  • Glycolysis
  • First we move to the Cytoplasm Plateau and split into two Pyruvate.
  • The ATP was made from Phosphates and ADP, where ATP sythase can be found.
  • During our split we created NADH, 2 ATP, water, and hydrogen.
  • We use pyruvic acid to give us energy for this part. It's made from a reaction with acetyl-CoA.
  • In the Mitochondria
  • In this cycle, CO2 is a byproduct as well as NAD+ being turned into NADH.
  • Kreb's Cycle
  • In our final ritual step, we add oxygen to the sugars, using electrons.
  • Electron Transport Chain
  • And that concludes our Cellular Respiration ritual. From this, we made about 32 ATP!
