Storyboard Text

  • Archie said ask??? Wrong move, Archie.
  • We are just asking you to sell these chocolates, Jerry.
  • NOOOOO!!!
  • Beat this stupid freshman up already!!
  • The poster and shoes are gone.
  • He disobeyed the Vigils, I better ignore him.
  • Beat this queer up fellows!!
  • Jerry meets with the Vigils for a new assignment. He is asked by Archie to sell the chocolates. The word ask meant that Archie was trying to negotiate and has less control of Jerry. Jerry still goes on to say no to the sale.
  • Get him Janza!!
  • After disobeying even the Vigils, Jerry is being treated as if he was invisible. It was as if people were trying to erase his existence.
  • Goob do not disturb the universe.
  • This is terrible you ok? The ambulance will be here.
  • Emile Janza gets up group of outsiders to beat up Jerry. Janza believes that this is the method to properly teach Jerry a lesson about defying the Vigils.
  • I will not punish you for your action with the black box. I understand. By the way you got any chocolate? Hershey preferably?
  • Next time, Archie. You will get what's coming. What goes around comes around.
  • Emile and Jerry are participating in the boxing match as a form of revenge. They were both manipulated by Archie. Jerry felt like he could beat Emile but realizes that would be close to impossible now.
  • Jerry lost a fight to Emile Janza. He is terribly injured. After this defeat, Jerry tells Goober that it is not worth it to disturb the universe. It will do no good. At this point Jerry gives up and his determination is destroyed by Archie and those who possess power.
  • Archie and Obie are at the bleachers once again. This shows that the story is cyclical as it begins and ends in the same location. However it has changed significantly as well. The setting is nighttime and the people with power retain their power. Cormier message is that people with power keep that power and defeat the weak.
