- Stage One: Call to adventure and supernatural aid
- Ah, Gandalf. Ok, let's go I guess.
- Bilbo, you must go on an adventure.
- Stage 2: Crossing into the unknown. Beginning of transformation
- Stage Two: Crossing the threshold and leaving the known world behind, Begins the hero's transformation .
- The dwarves and I are getting ready to cross into worlds unknown, eek! Where is Gandalf?
- Trolls, and Goblins, and Wargs, OH, MY!
- Stage Three: Challenges
- I escaped with no help! I'm awesome! And, I've got the ring whoop whoop
- Stage Four: The Revelation Hero gains confidence in his abilities.
- MY PRECIOUS!!!!!!
- Stage Five: Transformation Hero has no fear.
- I will go into Smaug's lair. I can do this!
- Stage Six: The Return Hero returns home changed for the better and is master of two worlds.
- It is so nice to be back in the Shire. Adventures aren't so bad after all.
