Once upon a time there was a sower who wanted to plant crops so he could feed his family through the treacherous Winter. Some seeds scattered along a path.

When the sower walked away back to home a flock of birds spotted the seeds and found their lunch.
The next day the sower found that some birds had taken his seeds as a meal.
Arghhh! RAVENS!
Some seeds landed on some rocks where the soil was shallow.
The soil was shallow so the crops sprung up quickly.
The next day as the sun was scorching in the sky the crops were the victims of the burning sun and the plants withered because they had no root.
