  • The Call to Adventure
  • I volunteer as tribute!!
  • The Hunger Games
  • Crossing the Threshold
  • Are we there yet?
  • Katniss was born into an extremely poor family in district 12 with her mom and her little sister, Prim. When she was younger, her and her father would go game hunting in the forrest that had been blocked off by the government. He later died in a coal mining accident, forcing Katniss to grow up in a home with a single mother and a little sister who she loves dearly.
  • Allies and Enemies
  • Lets be allies.
  • Every year the government of Panem, the country she lives in, randomly selects one boy and one girl each year from ages 12 to 18 from each of the districts to participate in the event called the Hunger Games. In the games, brutally children fight to the death until there is one final victor. Katniss' sister, name was drawn and she volunteered as tribute in order to her sister from the games.
  • Reward
  • After Katniss volunteers as tribute, she is then immediately taken from her home and loved ones to the Capitol of the country, where the people live lavishly, unlike in the other districts. She rides there in a train with her mentor, Haymitch who won the games a long time ago, Effie, the announcer woman, Peeta, her rival, and their prep team into a new world that she has never seen before.
  • Return
  • Our lives can never be normal again.
  • Everyone is your opponent. You can choose wisely as to whom you team up with and choose who to team up with. In the beginning of the games, Katniss meets a sweet young girl named Ru who reminded her of her sister and the reason that she entered the games in the first place. They become allies until their plan goes slightly array and Ru dies. After that, she finds Peeta and teams up with him because she knows that he is trustworthy.
  • At the end of the games, Peeta and Katniss are the only 2 players left. They stage a suicide attempt in rebellion of the government system in which the both of them would kill themselves instead of having one victor. At the very last second, the government decides to keep the both of them instead of not having a victor in the end, but the irony of the story is that no one is a true winner.
  • This year's Winners of The Hunger Games -.-
  • As Katniss and Peeta make their way back home on the train once again, they realize that their lives will never be the same ever again. The 2 are supposedly "in love" and have never been so happy in their lives, but the result is the opposite. They can never sleep well at night due to nightmares about the games and they will always gain attention no matter where they go in their hometown. The only benefits in the games was the small act of rebellion towards the government and they are alive.
