Hello, and I'm Marissa. Growing up it was just me and my brother. We lived in DC and we didn't really have much, and my cousin, would come over to watch us why my parents worried about their own issues.
Hey, I'm the cousin.
A couple years later a judge granted my Aunt and Grandmother got custody over me and my brother.(meaning I would live with them for now on.)
I was enrolled into school late, but was finally going to school. I started school with my brother making us in the same grade. I moved to Maryland and attended Mary B. Neil elementary and then William A. Diggs.
When i finally reached middle school I've learned my independence real quick, I learned a lot about people once I started to fall back and really observe. I realized my mentailty was different from a lot of pthers, and I enjoyed being to myself from other people's characters.
Despite it all. I found what I wanted to do in life. I'm becoming a entrepreneur and Co-owner of me and my cousins business. I'm proud of coming up from nothing, I've gotten the chance to become the women I am today despite the negative in my life, I am forever grateful. I'm excited for my future. Dear Future generations, never give up.
Elementary school was fun. Hanging out with girls was annoying at first cause little girls always found something stupid to argue about. So, I started hang out with boys. Of course the girls made that a issue. at least when the boys argued is was about who took the ball in 4 Square.
