Storyboard Text

  • Hi, I'm Chatty the science cat. Today I'm going to take you on an adventure.
  • Hop on!
  • We're going to be learning about prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells on our way.
  • Prokaryotic cells don't have a nucleus.
  • Eukaryotic cells do have a nucleus.
  • The cytoplasm is all the contents of the cell inside the cell memebrane.
  • All cells have a membrane, ribosomes, and cytoplasm. The cell membrane is a layer that surrounds the cell and protects it from the outside.
  • A nucleus stores DNA. Just because prokaryotic cells don't have a nucleus doesnt mean they dont have DNA.
  • Ribosomes is where protein is made. We're almost there!
  • Eukaryotic cells have a mitochondria which gives the cell energy.
  • Prokaryotes also differ from eukaryotes in the structure
  • One thing that prokaryotes have that a eukaryote doesn't have is a cell wall. A cell wall gives the cell strength and structure.
  • Prokaryotic cells are found in bacteria . Eukaryotic cells are found in plants and animals.
  • Chloroplast are found in plants. They adsorb sunlight and produce food for that plant.
  • We're here after all that talking it's nice to relax
