  • Paris was handed a golden apple that read "To The Fairest." Paris had to give the apple to the goddess he thought was the fairest.
  • Choose me and I will give you Helen, the most beautiful women upon earth.
  • Although Paris was afraid of choosing between the goddesses he agreed. Hera was the first to talk. She told him she would make him the lord of all Asia and Greece.
  • I choose Aphrodite!
  • Then Athena jumps in. She tells Paris to choose her and she will give his lots of wisdom. She says that he will be the wisest man earth. If he picked her.
  • Lastly Aphrodite's time came to talk to Paris. She began to tell Paris that she will give him the most beautiful women on earth to be your bride. She told him her name was Helen of Sparta
  • Immediately Paris handed the apple to Aphrodite. He liked the other offers but it was love that he though was the best offer of all. Aphrodite then promised to take him to Helen in Greece. Both Athena and Hera were angry and said that he did not choose fairly.
