Siddartha was much different than anyone else. His mother dreamed of a white elephant who told her that her son is going to be a very special spiritual leader. She gave birth to him in a grove of trees.
Siddartha was visited by a monk when he was a child and he said that if he saw any form of suffering, he would not want to become king but a spiritual leader. But his father wanted him to be king so h gave him a good life so he wouldn't leave.
Then one day, Siddartha became curious of what was beyond the castle he lived in so he sneaked out on a horse and then he saw suffering and became upset and curiuos as to why there was suffering in the world.
When he was 30 years old, he left his lifestyle, cut all of his hair off and spent a lot of time in spiritual enlightenment as a monk
After living in poverty for years, he still didn't have any answers. So, one day he vowed to sit under a tree and think until he got answers to all of his questions.
After avoiding temptation, he became enlightened and wrote his answers and truths to create a new religion called Buddism.
