Storyboard Text

  • Very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad?
  • He had never wronged me. He had never given me insult. 
  • I turned the latch of his door and opened it, oh so gently! 
  • Exposition - It was a dark, cold night. Sir Henry was furious at King William and was getting ready to kill him.
  • Who's There!?
  • Rising Action - Henry begins being very nice to the King so he won't think Henry doesn't like him.
  • No blood spot whatever. It had been too wary for that.  A tub had caught all, ha ha!
  • Rising Action - Henry went into the King's room for 9 nights and watched him. The reason why he wanted to kill the King was because his beard made him look like a beast. 
  • I admit the deed! Tear up the planks! Here, here! It is the beating of his hideous heart!
  • Climax - On the 9th night, Henry was ready to kill the King. He entered the King's room and murdered him. 
  • Falling Action - The next day, Henry buried the King's body under the floor in his house. He was happy about what he did. 
  • Resolution - A police officer talks with Henry in his house. Henry feels very guilty and eventually confesses.
