  • Helen! Helen! Captain! captain! She can't see or hear me.
  • Ouch! Helen that hurts.
  • Helen, no!
  • After a girl named Kate found daughter Helen was blind and deaf she called her husband, Captain Keller. Her and her husband had contacted many other doctors but only one would help them. Her name was Annie Sullivan and she was hired by the Keller's to help their daughter. At the time this started Helen was only 19 months old.
  • C,A,K,E cake.
  • Annie herself was once blind and now she has to wear glasses to protect her eyes from the sun. Helen was only six and now had a good person to help. Annie was doubted but she was determined.Then Helen hits Annie with the a baby doll she gave her. Helen then lock Annie in her room and drops the key through the pump.
  • You need to go outside.
  • She's um she's right.
  • No just let her eat this way once.
  • Helen was difficult to help but she still tried. Annie not only wanted to help Helen but she also wanted to have something to feel proud about. Helping Helen would be just what she needed. Due to her parents pity Helen was allowed to do anything and Annie needed to discipline her. The only way to do this would be to take Helen somewhere else with just her. This would force Helen to adjust to the new changes.
  • Wah,wah
  • Annie decides that the best place to keep Helen with her is the garden house. After it is all cleaned out they move in. Annie teaches Helen many words but she doesn't know that things have a name. Annie wants more time with her but Kate refuses she wants to be with Helen .
  • They take Helen back to the Keller's house and have dinner. Helen try's testing them by dropping her napkin. She spills a pitcher on Annie. Annie takes Helen outside to fill the pitcher she spilled on her at the pump. Earlier Kate told James to stand up to his dad when he is wrong. He knows Keller is wrong so as he is chasing Annie James gets him to stay in the kitchen.
  • After Coming outside to fill the pitcher Annie Spells water into Helen's hand. When Helen was little she couldn't talk but she tried to say water. All she could get out was "wha, wha". Now she remembered that she said that. Then she say's it. Later Annie teaches Helen thirty new words. Later while sitting on the porch Helen gives Annie a key symbolizing her brilliant mind has been unlocked.
