In the beginning of the book, Fatima is all alone in the factory for her third year. Until Iqbal came along, and he changed everything .
The conflict is is that they are being forced to work for people who lie to them. They tell them that they give them I rupee every day but they don't.
The rising action is that Iqbal is being sold from his family so his brother can have medicine. He is very brave, and is not afraid of any master because of his skill and abilities.
The climax or the turning point is when Iqbal escapes for the second time, but this time he comes back with Eshan Khan. Iqbal gets Hussein Kahn arrested, and then frees all his friends for good.
The falling action is when Iqbal says to Eshan Khan that he wants to stay with him, and help him free more children. He wants to give other kids the feeling of freedom that he felt when he was freed.
I want to help you! I want to free more children.
The resolution is when Maria writes to Fatima telling her that on Easter Sunday Iqbal was killed. Though even though he died he had inspired so many more kids to be like him. Then 2 weeks later Fatima gets a knock at the door, and it was a boy that came to them so they could arrest their master. He was identical to Iqbal.
