Storyboard Text

  • Wildlife are animals that can live and eat on their own, and find their own shelter.
  • Good morning class. Today we will define wildlife and distinguish between domesticated and wild animals.
  • Domesticated animals are those that humans have kept and bred in captivity.
  • When I call your name, you will come up here and dramatize the animal you were assigned. You will have 10 seconds, then the class will attempt to guess your animal.
  • Does anyone know what animal Anabelle is dramatizing?
  • I know, I know, I know.
  • That has to be a bird! Pick me, I know it!
  • What are some examples of domesticated and wild species?
  • Students, what is the definition of wildlife and domesticated animals?
  • Who can give me an example of an exception between a wild and domesticated animal?
  • Cats and dogs are domesticated but they can be wild, also known as feral.
  • Next, we will identify one or more animals that coexist. You will dramatize the animals, their relationships and the ecosystems in which they live.
