Storyboard Text

  • Ah what a lovely day. It makes me remember my theory on the social contract. I really believe that we are all obliged to to obey only legitimate power as I stated in my book on the social contract
  • We as humans are all created equal and no one has more right than any other person. Therefore slavery shouldn't exist.
  • A man who gives up his liberty is renouncing all morality from his acts. No one has more power over anybody and everyone's actions have the same consequences.
  • Also, talking more about our fellow humans, slavery is something that should never be done.
  • Men and the sovereign power in a place should always have the same ideas and beliefs on helping the society and not just on themselves. Any person who tries to go out of the social norm shall face the consequences that the people will give to those individuals. This is in order to establish a safe environment for everyone under the sovereign's control.
  •  Most people submit their rights in order to live in a more civilized society. This is basically what a social contract is. My ideas on the social contract theory are essential for the people to maintain most of their rights and still live under a sovereign power that will address the citizens every need. Well this is just my opinion so you decide if you want to believe it.
