Exposition- He hears knocking at his door. In the poem it says, "While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door."'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door".
Climax- Raven tells him he will never see Lenor. In the poem it says, "Respite, respite and nepenthe, from thy memories of Lenore!Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe and forget this lost Lenore!" Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."".
Resolution- The raven cast a dark shadow over speaker.In the poem it says, "And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floorShall be lifted—nevermore!".
