Velcro is an opening-closing system that works by manual pressure , using sticks and hooks. It´s composed mainly of mixed materials, such as nylon or/and cotton.
Georges and his dog, went for a walk to the forest, since he was very bored.
He left the forest, but he noticed something, he had burdock seeds attached to his clothes and the dogs coat which he couldn´t take away easily.
After this he decide to analyze the plant, and discovered that it contained curved filaments that adhered to the clothing and fur.
When he saw what he could do, he combined it with fabrics such as wool and cotton. Finally patented it in 1957 and named it "Velcro Companies"
What´s it used for today? what´s transcendental? Nowadays, this material is indispensable for items such as clothes and backpacks, and its transcendental, is very evident, it´s very practical and has been widely used.
