The Aztecs are farming crops on Chinampas. When the Aztecs first got here they knew there was a lot of modifications to be made. So they came upon agricultural needs and figured the land was not good so they invented Chinampas.
Man coming to town through newly made canals and causeways. As well as the Chinampas there was a problem for the Aztecs getting to the mainland so they built causeways and canals. Canals were waterways made for the Aztecs to travel through. Causeways connected 2 parts of land together. Kind of like a bridge.
