The children's crusade is a crusade where tens of thousands of peasant children from France and Germany marched to the Holy land, only to be sold to slavery or by merchants.
Christians tried to take over the Iberian Peninsula from Muslims by declaring a series of wars. Eventually, they made progress and captured Toledo in central Spain.
Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand wanted Spain as a Christian country and therefore used Inquisition and sent armies against the non christians.
The Inquisition was against the converts, and were strictly did not tolerate anyone practicing the former religion, Torture was used to get answers.
As like all wars, the crusades caused terrible casualties and economic losses, resulting in bigger taxes, although it did give much more power to monarchs
Muslims were even worse off than the Christians. They didn't even gain much knowledge from the battles because they were already so advanced. Only merchants earned some money.
