The three questions that I want to ask Machiavelli are, What aspects of Ancient Rome influenced Machiavelli and which does it seem he ignored in the Prince? I wanna ask this question because Machiavelli was greatly influenced by ancient Rome. Another question I have is, according to Machiavelli what is the relationship between fear and hate? This is due to him constantly bringing up how one effect the other. My last and final question is, How does Machiavelli view human nature? because he talks about how greedy men are and self centered.
I liked this book because Machiavelli is saying how his teachings can be applied in past and even now in present. He talks about how to not have mercenaries in the army because they betray you and are not a as effective as national armies. Another subject he talks about is how you should rule a country , and he gives a advice how is better to have the people support than the support of the wealthy(nobles) and he says about how you should use other people to do your things and when things get messy , discard him , things like this happened many times , specially how the politicians work today
