  • Persians Go Marching In
  • Persians Beat Off Small City-States
  • Persians Dominating, Now It Is Time To Keep Dominating
  • The Persians start marching in on the Greeks and or Spartans. The start of the attack started during 480 B.C. The war started because Greece was taking over coastal areas and the Persians did not like it so they decide to plan and attack.
  • Finally, Persians Vs Spartans
  • Other city-states help defend against the Persians. But all the city-states were out numbered as there was constantly Persians pushing in as there was 250,000 Persians against small city-states.
  • Longer Than They Thought
  • The Persians have beaten all city-states besides one, The Spartans, they were considered the last line of defense and that was true. But they could've got some help from other city-states. But on the same day as the battle they were holding religious ceremony for there gods. So they didn't get any help after the other city-states were destroyed.
  • Persians Win
  • The battle between the outnumbered 300 Spartans vs The 150,000 to 250,000 some odd Persians locate and attack the last line of defense for the Greeks. However the Spartans are gracefully comming there hair while the Persians attack them as if the Spartans aren't scared or worried.
  • The Greeks and Or Spartans were holding the Persians off for many days, so many as 3 days. The Spartans needed help but every city-state have a religious for there gods going on at the time of the battle so they got no help. They just had to keep fighting. It was a suicide fight, which in this case it was. The Spartans held off as much as 25,000 Persians. The 300 that fought were the best 300. And some were even the kings of Sparta. In the process they lost some soldiers.
  • The Persians are informed of multiple other ways of getting up to the Spartans. Well you had the way they have been taking the middle path, but comes to find out there is a way of getting in on the Spartans from the East and West Side of the Thermopylae mountain. Nobody knows how they discovered this the most logical reasoning would be a near city-state who knows the mountains betrayed them. The Spartans put up a great fight but it wasn't enough to beat the 250,000 Persians.
