Storyboard Text

  • ACT I
  • "Who's horrid image doth unfix my hair and make my seated heart knock at my ribs are less than horrible imaginings. (Shakespeare I iii 135-138)
  • ACT II
  • "I hath done the deed..." (Shakespeare II ii 14)
  • "O treachery! Fly, good Fleance, fly, fly, fly! Thou mayst revenge--O slave!" (Shakespeare III iii 19-20)
  • Macbeth is a kind and caring person in Act I. He thinks about doing something before doing it. After learning his prophecy, he has devilish thoughts but quickly brushes them away.
  • ACT IV
  • Lady Macbeth intimidates Macbeth to murder Duncan. Macbeth is telling himself that it's wrong but eventually the greed gets to him so he goes on to stab Duncan with the guards' dagger.
  • ACT V
  • "I looked toward Birnam, and anon methought the wood began to move." (Shakespeare V v 34-35)
  • "If thou speak'st false, upon the next tree shall thou hang alive till famine cling tree." (Shakespeare V v 39-41)
  • Banquo's son, Fleance, is destined to become king. Macbeth wants his family to keep the throne so he orders two murderers to kill Banquo and Fleance. Banquo is slain but Fleance flees.
  • ACT VI
  • A bloody child appears and tells Macbeth that no one can harm him.
  • “...none of woman born / shall harm Macbeth.” (Shakespeare IV i 80-81)
