Storyboard Text

  • Joan of Arc was a French peasant-girl that left home at the age of 16 years old. She started hearing voices at the age of 13. The voices told her to fight for the French Army and make Charles king.
  • Later, Joan of Arc dresses as a boy to join the army. She gets a test from the king to see if she could hear voices from God. She passed the test by going straight to Charles, even though he was in disguise.
  • During the battle of Orleans, she got shot in the neck and shoulder area. Soon after, she recovered and was able to go back into battle. God saved her.
  •   Uh-Oh!!! 
  • In one of her battles, she got captured by French traders. She was kept in a cell while they were figuring out her ransom. King Charles ended up not paying the ransom, the English did, so she would go to trial.
  • Bonjour! I am GOD! Good job you have fulfilled your tasks!!! 
  • She got accused of witchcraft, spreading religious teachings, and heresy. While held in a dungeon she got mentally tormented and physically tortured. After she confessed that she could hear voices from God, she took it back.
  •       See!!! I can hear voices!!! 
  •    JESUS!
  • Joan of Arc was killed at the age of 19. She was burned by the Church, in front of a big crowd. Her last word was "Jesus". In 1920, she became a saint because they realized she was not a witch and that there is no such things as witches.
