Setting: Year of 2081. Everybody has to be made equal through the use of handicaps. And one individual Harrison Bergeron thinks otherwise
Harrison doesn't agree with the use of handicaps to make everyone equal, he breaks out of jail and is on the loose, he goes on live television to share his views and opinions with the world. All the government knows is that he has to stop it.
Harrison breaks into a dance studio and removes his handicaps and the ballerinas and the musicians handicaps as well. He takes one of the ballerinas and dances with her showing off his strength, while his parents are watching it all happen at home on the television.
Harrison is dancing with one of the ballerinas that removed all of her handicaps, the government were racing to get to them to stop them. When they finally got to them they shot and killed both Harrison and the dancer, they did that to show people what would happen if they took off their handicaps.
After the death of Harrison and the dancer, they cut the cameras, and Harrison's father was watching the whole time, and after a few seconds of being mortified, his handicap went off and a sharp sound rang in his ears making him forget that he just saw his son get shot and killed on live television.
In conclusion, life goes on like the death of Harrison Bergeron and his efforts to show people total equality is wrong, never happened. The event was forgotten and no one even knew that it happened.
