  • After the Trojan War, Odysseus ends up on an island Ogygia with the nymph Calypso.
  • Lotus Eaters... Polyphemus... Circe's Island... Scylla and Charybdis... Sol's Cattles... 
  • I'm fourteen, but I love men with experience!
  • Back in Ithaca, Penelope is plagued by suitors desiring to wed her and lead the kingdom and Athena (in disguise as Mentor) tells Telemachus to search for his father.
  • Good but gory idea, lads.

  • Odysseus sets sail and spends twenty days at sea. When Poseidon, the god of sea, finds him sailing home, he sends a storm to wreck his raft. 
  • Yo, can I stay for a few days? You know, till Telemachus comes home.
  • Sure, stranger.
  • Odysseus arrived in Scheria, home of the Phaecieans, and spent the night speaking of his journey from Troy to Scheria. The Phaecians grant him a way to Ithaca after hearing his entertaining but difficult trip home.
  • The suitors find out about Telemachus' search for his father and plan an ambush. 
  • Odysseus, disguised as a beggar by Athena, reach the swineherd's home, and he is welcomed by the swineherd's hospitality.
