Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • "You're lying, you don't remember!"
  • Conflict
  • "Ready, children?"
  • "Yes!"
  • "All a joke! Hey, everyone, let's put her in a closet before the teacher comes."
  • Before Margot got locked in a closet...
  • Rising Action
  • "No, it's not!"
  • "It's like a penny."
  • Margot is a 9 nine-year-old who moved to Venus when she was 4 and when she told the other kids that she still remembers the sun they said to her that it isn't real.
  • Climax
  • "Will it be seven more years?"
  • On Venus, it has been raining for seven years. And every seven years the sun will come out but the students had lied to Margot and told her that the sun will never come out and locked her in a closet. They then went outside to play in the sun for 2 hours.
  • Falling Action
  • When Margot tells the kids that she remembers what it looks like, they don't believe her. She says scientists predict that the sun will out but the children lie to her and say that it will never come out.
  • Resolution
  • When the other students came in from playing in the sun, they had remembered that Margot was still in the closet.
  • "Margot! She's still in the closet."
  • "Yes. Seven"
  • Once they had remembered that they left Margot in the closet, none of them had moved. They didn't know what to do, but then they started to walk down the hall towards the room.
  • The students finally get to the door and they don't hear anything. It was dead silent in the closet. They open the door and let Margot come out.
