Man V.S. Society Atticus is going against Maycomb as a society and their beliefs. They believe that Atticus shouldn't be defending Tom because he is black. Atticus is constantly being harassed by the people of Maycomb. He even had to stay outside the jail so that no one would hurt Tom.

Man V.S Man Mayella tricks Tom into being alone with her. She sends her siblings off to go get ice cream. Tom does not feel comfortable with being alone with her.
Man V.S Society This is Boo versus society because society has a certain view of him that isn't who he truly is. In reality Boo is actually a nice person. I know this because he leaves things for Jem and Scout to find. Also he fixed and folded Jem’s pants when they had gone into his yard. He's actually a good person but people do not see that side of him. Society thinks he's a monster but he's not.
Man V.S Self This is Scout versus herself because she fights the urge to argue with Cecil Jacobs. Cecil Jacobs was mocking Scout at recess about Atticus defending Tom. Scout had to restrain herself because Atticus asked her to stop fighting. Scout finally comes to the realization that what Atticus is doing is actually right and doesn't care about what people say. Although this is only the beginning for Scout, throughout the rest of the story Scout has to put up with many more insults.
Man V.S. Man Atticus warns Jem to be a gentleman to Mrs. Dubose, because she is old and sick. She insulted Atticus, and Jem lost his temper. Jem took a baton from Scout and destroyed all of Mrs. Dubose's camellia bushes.
