Storyboard Text

  • I'm living my best life! My citizens are dying but they should learn how to not be poor.
  • We will figure out what to do when the time comes. Why prepare if we are unsure?
  • We want to know what's going to happen to our country! I feel blind not knowing what we are doing!
  • Louis XVI was well intentioned, but had little interest in actually ruling the nation.  He put off making big decisions and feared upsetting the nobility.
  • I, for one, think democracy is the way to go! It's a perfect solution to our crisis!
  •  Combining quick mood shifts, and his own fuzziness on the details, the self-proclaimed dealmaker Donald Trump has left his options way open on a range of contentious decisions — while causing whiplash in many of the political insiders, business leaders and even foreign governments with a stake in the outcomes
  • I'm done with overspending on food! Either the government gets involved or the people do!
  • Trump seems to be very unclear on his plans, which worries the people. If Trump continues to leave the states in the dark, someone may eventually get fed up and go to an extreme measure to discredit Trump.
  • We shouldn't have to worry about being fired for no reason! We deserve stability!
  • Upper class members of the third estate (the bourgeoisie) looked at the success of the American Revolution and began to speak openly about eliminating the old social system and replacing it with the Enlightenment concepts of democracy, liberty and equality.
  • The Iranian uprising that began in Mashhad, Iran’s second largest city, was initially reported as an isolated protest over food prices and unemployment. By Sunday, the entire country was heaving in convulsions. Thousands of people poured into the streets of at least two dozen Iranian cities, upturning vehicles and setting government offices ablaze. The regime has been shaken to its foundations. Hundreds of people have been arrested. At least 12 people are dead.
  • Showing all the signs of a future Revolution, Iran may be in trouble if these revolts continue. If they do, someone in the government must either stop them or fight back. What they choose could determine the future dangers of this country.
